Pumpkin Patch

We had a family weekend in Beaufort a few weekends back (that Mikey didn't get to come to because of work...but that will NEVER be a problem again as he just got a NEW job!! YAY!)...anyways we decided to take the kids to the pumpkin patch downtown. It's funny how events like this *for babies anyways* are so much more for the parents than the kids! I'm sure little C couldn't have cared less about being there, but I HAD TO GET PICTURES OF HER IN A PUMPKIN PATCH!!!! HA:) Serves me right that she wouldn't give us ONE smile the whole time. To her defense, she was suffering from her first ear infection and didn't feel that great...poor little boo. It was a GORGEOUS fall day in Beaufort...and if by fall, you mean 80 degrees...the mamas might have been a little over dressed for the warm weather, but gah....when I finally get ready for FALL, bring it on!

Belle at least enjoyed her time there, she is the best big sister/cousin...she LOVES the babies.

Those shoes wouldn't stay on long:-(  Little C has TINY feet.  Seriously.  Newborn/crib shoes are the only  thing that fit her right now, but all of those are soft soled and not good for her since she is  pulling up.  These were size 2 (smallest they had in this style that I love) and I stuffed tissue in them and they were still way too big!

Hmmm...what's this little thing?
Closest thing we got to a smile that day!

I love these little angels so much!

My Pinterest inspired master bedroom makeover part one.

The BEFORE pictures. I've been itching to re-do my master bedroom for quite some time now. I am one of those people that likes to re decorate quite often...unfortunately for my bank account. Mikey's mom bought him a full queen sized bedroom suite when he graduated college, which was wonderful. It is very nice furniture and has served us well. But, I am SOOO sick of all the dark matchy-matchy look it brings. I will use this furniture again in a guest bedroom one day...but for now, it's time to retire it from my master. All of my bedding and rug I had previously...I've now had this zebra/brown/green theme for almost 4 years...so over it! Fortunately for us...my brother and SIL got a new bed...so what do we get?? Their old KING size bed!! Woohoo. I do NOT like for people to touch me when I sleep, I need my space...I've been wanting a king for so long. Even though our room isn't the biggest the king is working out okay...we aren't going to be in this h

2019 family Village Creek trip

Our 2019 summer family vacation was everything I could have asked for, and more!  This year, my parents and nephew joined us for the week so we had extra fun!  (and extra chaos of course, too!)  We did ALL the things, but yet also did ALL the relaxing.  We arrived on G and T's actual, bday so we started our trip with a special birthday lunch in downtown Beaufort with just the boys since Collins rode down with my mom.  We also finally experienced the drive in movie that night for Toy Story 4 and it was AWESOME!  We only had one day of cloudy weather so that was awesome!  We ventured to Bohicket Marina, Harbor Town, Harbor Island, Edisto Island, Botany Bay, our favorite sandbar AND downtown Beaufort by boat, we had a ball!   My dad got some AMAZING fireworks and we had a little show for the culdesac, so much fun!!  Mikey and I even got to sneak out one night for a date night, headed to our fav, Sal

Takeover Tuesday

Surprise Caro, guess who hacked into your blog! I know what you are saying to yourself...I can’t believe it’s taken this long for me to mess with you on here. For those of you who haven’t figured it out yet, this obviously is not your sweet Caroline, this is her wonderful, sarcastic, fun loving, baby daddy (or is it babies’ daddy now?), also known as her husband. (Caro at her finest, throwing me a great 25th birthday celebration) Where do I begin…. I guess we can talk about how this marital bliss came to be before we talk about the author of this blog and how amazing she. Caroline has been the love of my life for as long as I can remember, we were actually first grade boyfriend and girlfriend if you can believe it. After first grade, there was the great divide, as both of us went to different schools the following year. Finally, after 10 agonizing, lonely years we were reunited at a house party our senior year in high school. I, naturally, had always kept an eye on her throughou
