Spring shopping

I've been slowly trying to buy some stuff for MYSELF lately.  It seems I'm always buying for the kiddos or the house, which is fine. I'm at a point in my life where I would much rather put my money towards my house than clothes. They just don't matter to me that much anymore. Sure, I get the wants every now and then and want to go blow $1,000 on designer duds... But, then I get real and think about what I actually wear the most (work Clothes and lounge clothes). It's just not worth it to me to spend a ton of money on fun clothes these days. I will occasionally still invest in some items, but for the most part I've started shopping much cheaper for my "fun" clothes.   We are leaving for the Bahamas on Friday (!!!!) and I needed some new stuff. Here's some of what I have picked up that I'm digging: Forever 21.  So cute with white jeans.  Target  Target  Target  Target bathing suit cover up  I did splurge on a lily top (but it was on sale!) I got

Life lately.

Whew. We haven't really been crazy busy lately, but blogging hasn't been at the front of my mind either. We've been enjoying some more low key weekends with not a lot on the agenda.   Colls came down with the stomach bug this past week so that wasn't fun. Otherwise, we've been loving on our babies, chilling out, and waiting the warmer temps!! My sweet sass pot. We took a day trip to charleston last weekend to visit the citadel.  Matching my babies for church, how long can I get away with this?! ;-) Enjoyed a wonderful lunch outside after church, my diva.  We randomly had a little adult fun Monday night with a boat ride. My best guy friend who lives in Texas was home for a funeral so a few of us got together for a sunset cruise and cook out.  My bestie, Kayla took pictures of the boys Tuesday after work, she sent me a few teasers!!! LOVE those baby bellies.  We are going to enjoy one more weekend of NO plans/get shit done around the house before our schedule and out

{weekend rewind}

I've been fighting a stupid head cold for the past few days which is never fun!! Last Weekend was a good one, despite being sick.  We had no plans Friday night and kept it that way. I took Collins to get her first real haircut.... In a chair, etc. My friend who does my hair has trimmed hers a couple times but this was the firs time she went to the hair salon;-). She loved it (after) and did so good, but this is her face when she's nervous/ not sure about what's going on. Ha!  #diva After bath cuteness:-) Saturday was the best day. Most of my besties from college/sorority got together for a sip and see and we had so much fun. Lots of sipping;-). We all went back to the new momma's house after and spent several hours just hanging out, felt like college days all over again.  Several of us continued the fun and went out to dinner Saturday night, our guys were there too but the group pic was super dark. Such a fun night with these peeps.  Sunday was for REST. I probably shou

{the Glenn twins: 8 months}

8 months!   My boys are finally BOTH sitting up, hooray!  That’s such a game changer for being able to play, etc.  We are working on having them both hold their own bottles, whew! That’ll be nice when that happens consistently, they are doing better.  G and T are growing like weeds and eating us out of house and home.  SERIOUSLY, y’all.  Feeding two boys is going to be NUTS.    They are becoming very good eaters and have now tried sweet potatoes, broccoli, green beans, peas, bananas, oatmeal, applesauce, mashed potatoes, the list goes on. At first, Thomas wasn’t that interested in food, but he has slowly come around and will eat anything now. Graham will make himself gag on food if he doesn’t like it, it’s quite hilarious.    Typical schedule:   WAKE: somewhere  between 7 and 7:30 …  even Graham is sleeping till then now, no more putting a paci in between 5:30-7…so proud of my little guy! 7:30 : 6 oz WAKE and PLAY 9: fruit/oatmeal 10:30 : 6 oz. NAP (typically 1.5-2 hours) 12:30 :  frui

Weekend rewind (we did nothing!!)

We had absolutely no plans this weekend, and we actually kept it that way. Normally, if we have nothing planned we will see if someone wants to do dinner or something... But we needed a weekend of nothingness, it's good for us every once in a while;-)  All three of my babies had ear infections... So obviously that was a big reason we made no plans, so they could get better. Graham's temp spiked to 104 Thursday night, so after a quick trip to after hours, I was relieved it was just an ear infection. Poor little buddy. Thankfully, on Friday collins had her three year old well check where the doc confirmed Thomas had an ear infection and collins had one in both ears!! You would have never known that girl was sick... Thank goodness!! Our Friday night consisted of a trip to wal mart and grabbing a quick dinner.  On Saturday, Mikey played golf and the kiddos and I were super lazy!! It was amazing:-). We stayed in our Jammies all day long, absolutely no shame there, we should do that
