All in a day's work.

So...yeah. I am just now getting around to posting about some super FUN events that took place in March, March 5th to be exact. Better late than never, right?!? I just know that if I never post about these things I will be annoyed with myself in a year. I attended four, FOUR "parties" in one day. Yep, you heard right. It was madness. party 1: we threw an impromptu girls "brunch" to celebrate our JENNREYN getting engaged! Three of these girls live out of town and we don't get to see each other near enough, it was so nice to have some quality time with these ladies. I heart them. This is Jennifer with her bridesmaids from college. party 2: a shower for our friends lindsey and shayne. such good times when all of my best friends are together. party 3: no pictures! gasp. i went alone (mikey stayed with the boys for the bachelor party b/c he was hosting the guys at our house before they went out), to a wedding shower for some good friends from high school.

It's been confirmed.

1. McDonald's yogurt parfait is better than Chick-fil-a's. I CANNOT believe that I just said that. I LOVE all things Chick fil A and generally do NOT like Mickey D's...but, I can't deny it anymore. I am kinda addicted to getting these in the mornings if I have to travel that day. 2. The Heritage (PGA golf tourney in Hilton Head Island, SC) is the MOST fun weekend ever. LOTS of pictures to come! 3. I have a little over EIGHT weeks to lose a million pounds before my best friends wedding....aaahhh, do I sound like a broken record? 4. I have ZERO desire to put on a bathing suit but am DYING to get out on the boat. 5. I love to eat out.

Hunting Island

Hunting Island State Park in Beaufort, SC was where I spent a large amount of time on Sunday. (Edited to add, this was Sunday, April 3..I meant to post this last week!)It is absolutely beautiful. You can read all about it here ...it is SC's most popular state park, with good reason. I took some pretty pictures while there, even if they were just with my phone...I wanted to document them regardless. My mom and I biked the park for almost 2 hours Sunday...it was absolutely breathtaking. Bike paths lead you along the marsh, thru the maritime forest, and to the beach. It was one of the most peaceful experiences I have had in a while. The last house remaining due to erosion, so sad. Pretty beautiful, huh?

Get Excited!!!!

I'm back:) I know...you were dying without me, right?!? I've come to terms with the fact that I'm a bad blogger. I'm okay with that. Once I get out of it for a few days...I just get really OUT of it and have no desire to jump back in..it seems exhausting sometimes. A bunch of stuff has gone on at work lately and I have been CRAZY busy, which is good...but also leaves NO time to blog. Oh well. I've also come to terms with the fact that I have a sweet tooth. BAD. I've never really thought of myself as someone who has a sweet tooth, but me-oh-my...was I so wrong. I will buy/fix sweets and then have to throw them away so I don't eat the whole thing in one sitting! I even baked my FIRST cake recently! Yes, me! Okay...so it was an "out of the box" kind, but it still counts!! It was freaking unbelievably delicious. I absolutely HATE the word moist, but there really is no other way to describe it. For reals, even Mikey was super impressed:)
