Christmas catch up part 1

Man- how is it all already over?! In the blink of an eye it went from mid December to end December- I hate it. But, such is life. So now it’s time to throw a million pics up on the blog so I can remember it all! Nothing better than freshly bathed babies in matching Christmas jammies in front of the Christmas tree- am I right?!? The boys preschool Christmas performance- where they BARELY sang, but were precious.  Daddy took c on a Daddy daughter date ice skating and she loved it! We had some friends over one December night... Another Southern strutt Christmas show for my girl.  Lots of fun christmassy activities going on!

Another fun holiday weekend in the books. I scooted down to Charleston Friday after work for our 14th annual ZTA girls Christmas parry. It’s always such a fun night- but goes too fast. Love how Mikey sends me pics of the kids if I’m ever away- collins spent the night with my mom, so it was just the boys. And then he took all three to the jump/fun house at Frankie’s Saturday morning:-) I then booked it back to Columbia Saturday morning so colls and I could go watch my niece dance in the Two Claras. The rest of Saturday was spent being lazy, hanging out, snuggling and then we ended Saturday with a trip to carters, wal mart and dinner. How fun, right?! ;-) We went to church Sunday and let the kids go to “big church” with us since it was the Christmas cantata service- always a favorite to get me in the holiday spirit. After church we drove to NC to celebrate our twin nephews (yep, two sets of boy twins in the Glenn family!) first birthday. The bonus? It has snowed so the kids go to go sled

Finally Friday

This week has been a doozy- my Unlce passed away Monday - unexpectedly and way too young. He had two young girls and our family has tried to rally around them and his wife this week in support. It’s so tough explaining things like this to kids- no easy way to do it. We’ve been hanging out at my parents night with my aunt and cousins almost every night after work and then all day yesterday was visitation/ funeral/ etc. so it’s definitely been a bit of an emotional and exhausting week- and I’m definitely ready for the weekend. I’ll be busting down 26 after work to head to our THIRTEENTH annual ZTA girls Christmas party! Love this special night with my college besties- it’s always so fun and so good having so many of my besties together at one time! I’m buying about 90% of my Christmas presents online this year and I love it. As much as I love to go out shopping and enjoy the festiveness of holiday shopping... I’d rather spend my free time with my family and not in a mall- so online shopp

Weekend rewind

Lots of Christmas happenings taking place around here! Got our tree- met Santa- went to a Christmas parade that Collins was in- girls night to see Bad Moms Christmas (so damn funny) - trip to see the lights at the zoo- family movie night to see the star and drive through the living Christmas story. Love this crazy, wonderful, hectic, holy time of year ❤️

One massive catch up

I’m so behind, as Mikey likes to remind me;-) at least I know one person still reads this! C’s school celebrated the 50th day of school with a cute little “50’s day” celebration.  Mimi came in town to watch the boys play soccer and we took her to dinner for her bday.  My girl learning to read- and reading to her brothers. Heart melt. And then, c’s school had “lake Murray long ago day” for thanksgiving... lots of fun activities my girl enjoyed.  I can’t even with this cuteness- they wanted to “seep togeder bc we love each oder” Took the kids to a Carolina game and met up with my college besties and their kids. Chaos!  And finally- an adult night out tailgating and watching our final regular season game of the year. Too fun.  Time flies y’all- I can barely keep up these days between work, kindergarten, preschool, laundry (oh the laundry), activities and trying to maintain a social/married life so we don’t all go insane! Whew!  Now bring on the busiest month of the year!
