Eat. Pray. Love.

Let's talk about this book, AGAIN. I'm still reading it, which is very unusual for me. I can get thru most books pretty fast...I am just dreading reading India...(or pray) I just think it sucks basically. I loved the first section (Italy, eat) but this one is painfully boring in my opinion. Did anyone else feel this way? I don't know, it just seems like a bunch of the same "pray, meditate, pray", bull shit over and over. Not saying that I don't believe in that type of thing, but I'm just NOT feeling it right now. I think Liz is just starting to piss me off more and more...I can't pinpoint it exactly, but she is just annoying to me for some reason. Regardless, I'm going to get thru the dang thing, because i want to finish it before I see the movie. I pray that love is better. Sigh.... ( i know, i know...i need to just quit bitching and put the book down if it's that bad right?)

EAT.

*This is a copy of one of my favorite chicken/cheese dips from Wild Wing Cafe...yummy!
2 chicken breasts...cooked and chopped up
1 pkg. Real Bacon pieces
1 ½ cup Ranch Dressing
8 oz. Velvetta cheese
2 green onions chopped up with greens
1 teaspoon Frank's hot sauce
Mix on top of stove and serve with chips or crackers....yummy

PRAY.

*That the economy really starts to turn around soon, I know a lot of people feel like it has...but it hasn't in the areas that affects my family. *PRAY hard*

LOVE.

*And just because it is fun for a girl to dream....I DIE over these Loubs, simply die!

My Pinterest inspired master bedroom makeover part one.

The BEFORE pictures. I've been itching to re-do my master bedroom for quite some time now. I am one of those people that likes to re decorate quite often...unfortunately for my bank account. Mikey's mom bought him a full queen sized bedroom suite when he graduated college, which was wonderful. It is very nice furniture and has served us well. But, I am SOOO sick of all the dark matchy-matchy look it brings. I will use this furniture again in a guest bedroom one day...but for now, it's time to retire it from my master. All of my bedding and rug I had previously...I've now had this zebra/brown/green theme for almost 4 years...so over it! Fortunately for us...my brother and SIL got a new bed...so what do we get?? Their old KING size bed!! Woohoo. I do NOT like for people to touch me when I sleep, I need my space...I've been wanting a king for so long. Even though our room isn't the biggest the king is working out okay...we aren't going to be in this h

2019 family Village Creek trip

Our 2019 summer family vacation was everything I could have asked for, and more!  This year, my parents and nephew joined us for the week so we had extra fun!  (and extra chaos of course, too!)  We did ALL the things, but yet also did ALL the relaxing.  We arrived on G and T's actual, bday so we started our trip with a special birthday lunch in downtown Beaufort with just the boys since Collins rode down with my mom.  We also finally experienced the drive in movie that night for Toy Story 4 and it was AWESOME!  We only had one day of cloudy weather so that was awesome!  We ventured to Bohicket Marina, Harbor Town, Harbor Island, Edisto Island, Botany Bay, our favorite sandbar AND downtown Beaufort by boat, we had a ball!   My dad got some AMAZING fireworks and we had a little show for the culdesac, so much fun!!  Mikey and I even got to sneak out one night for a date night, headed to our fav, Sal

Takeover Tuesday

Surprise Caro, guess who hacked into your blog! I know what you are saying to yourself...I can’t believe it’s taken this long for me to mess with you on here. For those of you who haven’t figured it out yet, this obviously is not your sweet Caroline, this is her wonderful, sarcastic, fun loving, baby daddy (or is it babies’ daddy now?), also known as her husband. (Caro at her finest, throwing me a great 25th birthday celebration) Where do I begin…. I guess we can talk about how this marital bliss came to be before we talk about the author of this blog and how amazing she. Caroline has been the love of my life for as long as I can remember, we were actually first grade boyfriend and girlfriend if you can believe it. After first grade, there was the great divide, as both of us went to different schools the following year. Finally, after 10 agonizing, lonely years we were reunited at a house party our senior year in high school. I, naturally, had always kept an eye on her throughou
