I didn't get many pictures on my camera, they are all on my sister in law's so I will have to share later! However, we had a wonderful weekend down in Beaufort and I was very very sad to come home last night.
I started "listing" today, and it made me laugh to think how often I do this. "Listing" is definitely what I do when I am bored/procrastinating/being organized/etc. I have done it as long as I remember....I seriously wrote out my outfits each day on a little dry erase board I kept in my room, dating all the way back to middle school! I am very obsessed with being organized, so I think my "listing" obsession stems from that.
Listing when studying, I have always made "study charts", "study time sheets", etc. I did this in high school, college and DEFINITELY law school. These lists were more of a way for me to put off studying longer and longer, for some reason when I would "list" out all the hours that I could devote to certain subjects throughout the day or week, it would make me feel TONS better about myself and my studying regimen. Think: contracts: 4:30-6:00; dinner; torts: 7-8:30, etc. I always find old study schedules that I made and it makes me crack up. Rarely did I follow these like I was supposed to, but somehow it made me feel better by making them.
Listing when bored, I have always made "to do" lists. Now, whenever I am bored...I list everything! "Things to buy for the house, things to do to the yard, blog topics, things to buy for myself, how long to pay off debt; you name it, I have a list for it! I make "general" to do lists every week, which normally include working out (I "schedule" for it every day, although that never happens that I actually workout every day of the week!) a random errand, etc. It is so weird to be working full time and no longer have to schedule in study time in my normal routine...it's crazy the amount of free time I have now! No worries, I have been taking FULL advantage=)
So, this is just one of my crazy ways of staying organized...now if I could just compile all of my "lists" into ONE place...instead of on my phone, computer, calendar at work, calendars i print out, etc.
What do you do to stay organized?
