As I contemplated what I would blog about I decided that I would dedicate one day a week to a "throw back." I'm going to start with one year ago today....and go from there. This will help give a little information on my life as it is now, maybe?? Or it will just help me have something to talk about. I wouldn't want you lovely ladies to get bored now would I??
A year ago today I was getting ready for one of my best friends weddings in Charleston, SC. (yeah, I just did the same thing for another best friend last weekend.) Good thing i LOVE weddings. The wedding was at Summerall Chapel on the campus of The Citadel (the groom went there, as did my groom as well...but we got married in Beaufort.) The reception was held at the Sand Dunes Club on Sullivans Island. It was a beautiful weekend and everything went perfectly! At this point I had only been engaged a couple of months, so everything wedding related was at the TOP of my mind.
The bride with her bridesmaids during the bridesmaid luncheon. We are at a very fancy restaurant in downtown Charleston and it was delicious. Sadly enough, my brain can't function that far back and I don't remember which restaurant it was.
Some of my best friends from high school. This is at the rehearsal dinner, yep don't remember the name of that either!
This is what you call the FAB FIVE. Yeah, go ahead make fun. It's from high school, but we still lovingly call ourselves that today if there are some cocktails involved! These are my absolute BEST friends from home. LOVE them always. (Ignore the ugliness involved here, this is at like 2 am after the rehearsal dinner. We are in the midst of a super dance party. No worries though, the bride was just drinking water!)
