Things on my mind Tuesday

I think I am going to cave and buy my first pair of revas soon. The local boutique that sells them here is having a 25% off day...now which color?

I am soooo sick of hearing about Tiger Woods and all of the trashy women he slept with. Not to mention, Today show...get over it. I love the Today Show, but you don't have to interview every two dollar hooker that slept with him. Sorry but I just feel like all they want out of this is their 25 seconds of fame and it is soooo annoying. Yes, I feel bad for Elin; she doesn't deserve any of this. However, I tend to be somewhat "non caring" when stuff happens like this to celebrities. I mean lets be honest, did Elin marry Tiger Woods because she really truly loved him, or did it help that she was afterall, marrying Tiger Woods...hmmm. Maybe that is wrong of me, and I know there are really people out there in the celebrity world that truly get hurt, it is just hard for me to believe that the money doesn't play a factor into most of these marriages.

I contemplate daily having a different career. I wish I could be some fashion icon and own a cute boutique or I would love to get into real estate and "stage" houses. However, here I am being an attorney...pretty stuck considering I have to pay off a billion dollars in student loans from law school.

I want it to be COLD on Christmas...like really cold. I love our weather most of the time, but I do wish we had cold weather more consistently this time of year. It is 72 degrees out today, ugh! I'm not saying I want it to be miserable or snow everyday but sheesshh...72??

I have TWO Christmas parties this weekend and I am SO excited! Friday night is the 6th annual girls christmas party that all of my ZTA friends started when we were in college. We still do it girls only, and it is always one of my favorite nights of the year. Things get CRAAAAZY! Saturday night the hubs and I are hosting a little christmas cocktail get together with some of our/his friends. Nothing too big or fancy...but fun nonetheless! I love that I get to dress up two nights in a row, it is so fun to be festive during the holidays.

Where are all the shows right now?? How long till they come back? Nothing on TV last night, so we ended up watching Pineapple Express, I wasn't impressed. I usually like his movies, but I thought this one was totally dumb. Thoughts??

Okay loves, back to work! Hope everyone is having a great day!

My Pinterest inspired master bedroom makeover part one.

The BEFORE pictures. I've been itching to re-do my master bedroom for quite some time now. I am one of those people that likes to re decorate quite often...unfortunately for my bank account. Mikey's mom bought him a full queen sized bedroom suite when he graduated college, which was wonderful. It is very nice furniture and has served us well. But, I am SOOO sick of all the dark matchy-matchy look it brings. I will use this furniture again in a guest bedroom one day...but for now, it's time to retire it from my master. All of my bedding and rug I had previously...I've now had this zebra/brown/green theme for almost 4 years...so over it! Fortunately for us...my brother and SIL got a new bed...so what do we get?? Their old KING size bed!! Woohoo. I do NOT like for people to touch me when I sleep, I need my space...I've been wanting a king for so long. Even though our room isn't the biggest the king is working out okay...we aren't going to be in this h

2019 family Village Creek trip

Our 2019 summer family vacation was everything I could have asked for, and more!  This year, my parents and nephew joined us for the week so we had extra fun!  (and extra chaos of course, too!)  We did ALL the things, but yet also did ALL the relaxing.  We arrived on G and T's actual, bday so we started our trip with a special birthday lunch in downtown Beaufort with just the boys since Collins rode down with my mom.  We also finally experienced the drive in movie that night for Toy Story 4 and it was AWESOME!  We only had one day of cloudy weather so that was awesome!  We ventured to Bohicket Marina, Harbor Town, Harbor Island, Edisto Island, Botany Bay, our favorite sandbar AND downtown Beaufort by boat, we had a ball!   My dad got some AMAZING fireworks and we had a little show for the culdesac, so much fun!!  Mikey and I even got to sneak out one night for a date night, headed to our fav, Sal

Takeover Tuesday

Surprise Caro, guess who hacked into your blog! I know what you are saying to yourself...I can’t believe it’s taken this long for me to mess with you on here. For those of you who haven’t figured it out yet, this obviously is not your sweet Caroline, this is her wonderful, sarcastic, fun loving, baby daddy (or is it babies’ daddy now?), also known as her husband. (Caro at her finest, throwing me a great 25th birthday celebration) Where do I begin…. I guess we can talk about how this marital bliss came to be before we talk about the author of this blog and how amazing she. Caroline has been the love of my life for as long as I can remember, we were actually first grade boyfriend and girlfriend if you can believe it. After first grade, there was the great divide, as both of us went to different schools the following year. Finally, after 10 agonizing, lonely years we were reunited at a house party our senior year in high school. I, naturally, had always kept an eye on her throughou
