For months, all Collins talked about was wanting a “jewelry making birthday party.” I don’t even know where she got the idea, we’ve never made jewelry…but her mind was set! I tried to convince her to do something out of the house, the trampoline park, etc….but NOPE, a jewelry making party it was! I ended up just ordering a few sets of Melissa and Doug wooden bead jewelry making kits that were age appropriate and they turned out SO cute! I was worried about the girls being interested, but they did much better than I imagined. I also ordered every girl a Melissa and Doug decorate your own jewelry box, so the jewelry and jewelry box were the “entertainment” of the party and doubled as party favors! Win-win! This was definitely the most low key party I’ve done…but I know my girl had a blast and I think the other little girls enjoyed it as well. We kept it simple with goldfish and lemonade and then cake and ice cream, and of course another beautiful and DELISH cake made by my sister in law. All in all, I think the party was a success!
Birthday girl!
