Goodness, these boys.  They are going to give me a heart attack one day soon.  Collins was NOT a “into everything baby” at all…these boys on the other hand!?  ESPECIALLY Thomas…he’s also a climber, my heavens….#panicmode  I wanted to do a little update on my stinkers….  Man do these two make life so much fun.

THOMAS:

WRECKING BALL.  Climber, into everything.  Makes me giggle every day.  Y’all, he is SUCH a stinker.  I couldn’t love this baby more…but HOLY, he’s going to spend a lot of time in the corner!!  I know he doesn’t really understand yet, and I think he’s trying to initiate play…but he pushes little Graham down and thinks it’s funny, he’s also constantly stealing toys/pacis/etc.  WHAT am I going to do with him?  He’s such the baby that goes to do something he KNOWS he’s not supposed to do…and you tell him no, and he keeps doing it with a big grin on his face!!  SERIOUSLY!  STINKER!  Thomas is so much more independent than Graham…doesn’t care about being loved on as much…likes to do his own thing.  But, goodness….he makes me laugh.  He’s about THIS close to walking.  He will free stand for long periods of time, but he doesn’t quite have the courage to step on his own yet.  He says “daddy (all the damn time), mama, ball, geen (green), gam (graham)…he basically doesn’t stop talking!  He’s in 12 and 18 mo clothing…size 4 diapers and has LOTS of teeth now.  He LOVES a ball and his favorite toys are things he can knock down, duh.  :-)  T will eat pretty much anything in sight and eats FAST.

GRAHAM:

Laid back, little G.  Graham is always the baby that is just chill; he’s into stuff more than Collins was but nowhere near as much as Thomas.  He could sit in the playroom and play for a good long while and be content.  He giggles constantly…and is always smiling.  He doesn’t like it when brother pushes him or takes his toys, but he has learned to fight back every once in a while!  He is a SNUGGLE bug…loves to be held and still always wants mama, melts my heart.  He loves blocks and his Melissa and doug train set.  He is finally starting to talk more…mainly dada and mama.  He’s still a ways away from walking, but he’s finally starting to free stand some!  He’s in 12 mo clothes and size 4 diapers and has LOTS of teeth now too.  He giggles constantly at Collins, and loves to crawl in and out of the screened in porch:)  He’s a bit pickier of an eater…but sometimes if I can shove something in his mouth and he realizes it tastes good, he’ll change his mind!

It’s amazing to me how different these little boys are…it was evident around the time they were 6 months old and has continued.  T is the leader, G the follower.  T is headstrong, G is the sweet one.  I hate writing these things out sometimes, because I hate “labeling” them…but if they were born one at a time, I would do it, so I’m not going to hold back now….of course I worry one day about how these specific personality traits will play out with boy twins…but we will cross that bridge when we get there.

These boys are the light of our life (along with their big sis)…not a day goes by that I don’t thank God for them.

Love you boys to the moon.

Xoxo, mama

My Pinterest inspired master bedroom makeover part one.

The BEFORE pictures. I've been itching to re-do my master bedroom for quite some time now. I am one of those people that likes to re decorate quite often...unfortunately for my bank account. Mikey's mom bought him a full queen sized bedroom suite when he graduated college, which was wonderful. It is very nice furniture and has served us well. But, I am SOOO sick of all the dark matchy-matchy look it brings. I will use this furniture again in a guest bedroom one day...but for now, it's time to retire it from my master. All of my bedding and rug I had previously...I've now had this zebra/brown/green theme for almost 4 years...so over it! Fortunately for us...my brother and SIL got a new bed...so what do we get?? Their old KING size bed!! Woohoo. I do NOT like for people to touch me when I sleep, I need my space...I've been wanting a king for so long. Even though our room isn't the biggest the king is working out okay...we aren't going to be in this h

2019 family Village Creek trip

Our 2019 summer family vacation was everything I could have asked for, and more!  This year, my parents and nephew joined us for the week so we had extra fun!  (and extra chaos of course, too!)  We did ALL the things, but yet also did ALL the relaxing.  We arrived on G and T's actual, bday so we started our trip with a special birthday lunch in downtown Beaufort with just the boys since Collins rode down with my mom.  We also finally experienced the drive in movie that night for Toy Story 4 and it was AWESOME!  We only had one day of cloudy weather so that was awesome!  We ventured to Bohicket Marina, Harbor Town, Harbor Island, Edisto Island, Botany Bay, our favorite sandbar AND downtown Beaufort by boat, we had a ball!   My dad got some AMAZING fireworks and we had a little show for the culdesac, so much fun!!  Mikey and I even got to sneak out one night for a date night, headed to our fav, Sal

Takeover Tuesday

Surprise Caro, guess who hacked into your blog! I know what you are saying to yourself...I can’t believe it’s taken this long for me to mess with you on here. For those of you who haven’t figured it out yet, this obviously is not your sweet Caroline, this is her wonderful, sarcastic, fun loving, baby daddy (or is it babies’ daddy now?), also known as her husband. (Caro at her finest, throwing me a great 25th birthday celebration) Where do I begin…. I guess we can talk about how this marital bliss came to be before we talk about the author of this blog and how amazing she. Caroline has been the love of my life for as long as I can remember, we were actually first grade boyfriend and girlfriend if you can believe it. After first grade, there was the great divide, as both of us went to different schools the following year. Finally, after 10 agonizing, lonely years we were reunited at a house party our senior year in high school. I, naturally, had always kept an eye on her throughou
