I WORKED OUT YESTERDAY IN THE MORNING...BEFORE WORK, YIPPEEE!!!
I know...you can't contain your excitement, right!?! Well I can't...that takes a LOT for me. This is how my workout regimen "generally" goes...I'll workout three or four times one week...two or three times the next...and then I'll skip two weeks and the cycle starts over. I just can't get a routine going where I workout constantly, three to four times a week. I MUST make it a priority. I HATE getting out of bed in the morning. PROBLEMS. When I have been working out lately, it has been when I get home from work. I don't have to work that long of hours...but regardless, when I get home around 6...the LAST thing I want to do is spend an hour working out. Unfortunately, working out is not a "release" for me as it is for so many people. Maybe, if I could ever turn it into something I love/do without thinking about/get a routine it could turn into that for me. But, as it stands right now...it's just not. Working out is something I dread, I guess because I feel like I "have" to do it. Blehhhh.
I don't have a gym membership anymore...I like workout videos so that when I do muster up the energy to work out I can do it at my convenience and do whatever workout I want to do. I really like "classes" and most gyms just don't have good times for me. I know that if I ever do get in a habit of a.m. workouts it will never include me waking up early enough to drive to a gym and have to shower there, etc. It also seems like so many of our gyms class times suck for working people. They either start at 5:15, 5:30 or not until 6:45. Well...can't get there before 6, but yet 6:45 is too late...I hate wasting time. I think it would be silly to go home for 30 minutes and then have to go back out to the gym. Anyways...point being, I have lots of exercise videos. LOTS. But, yet I still get bored with them. I think Mikey might kill me if I order anymore, but I'm yearning to mix it up soon.
These are the ones I do the most frequently:
1. Slim in Six: there are three different workouts in this one
2. 30 day shred
3. Power 90, the "before" product of p90x. There are like 7 different workouts in this package.
4. P90x...I don't like the whole regimented scheduled of this program (and yes, I'm sure if I acutally did it and stuck to it, I would probably see amazing results, but it calls for working out SIX days a week, there is just no way I can do that. ) But, I will randomly do the cardio videos...
5. Another Jillian, this one's pretty killer!
I have many more, but these are my favorites right now. How do those of you who workout at home mix it up? We also have a treadmill that I use when I can just sneak in 20 or 30 minutes. All this and I still get tired of doing the same ones. What is wrong with me?
So...I've been thinking about jumping on this bandwagon. I really think I would like it. Hmmm....

I've always been a Jillian fan...I love her videos, books and diets! I have been thinking about jumping on the Pure Barre wagon, too...I guess b/c of where we live, I am just hearing about this!
