Interesting facts? About ME? Hmmm........

1. I think I'm the only person who DOESN'T like pumpkin tasting things, especially the starbucks pumpkin spice latte, YUCK.
2. My husband and I were first grade boyfriend and girlfriend. True story. He was the only boy at my skating rink birthday party table. (all the other boys were at another table, because clearly they had cooties.) I then moved away....and he lusted after me all those years when he would see me come in McAlister's with my mom. Then he finally got the nerve to re-introduce himself at a party in high school. Hahahaaha...I make myself sound pretty good huh!?!
3. I tore my ACL in highschool cheerleading, I was devastated. I couldn't compete with my team for state...talk about a BIG deal to a senior in high school. Sads.
4. My knee still hurts sometimes because of it.
5. I'm a bit of an OCD freak about "clutter" and putting stuff away. Drives me nuts.
6. I LOVE to read. I read almost every single night before bed. Even if it is just for 10 minutes.
7. My favorite food is a combination of all things "southern" that my grandmothers used to cook. Got bacon? Got fat? Got butter? I probably love it. Sigh....*sweet potato casserole, white rice and butter beans, chicken and dumplings, mashed potatoes, mac n cheese...to name a few*
8. I'd rather have the TV on than listen to music...I do love music, but I'm just not one of those people who constantly has music on in the background.
9. I. HATE. TO. RUN. I've tried over and over to become a "runner." I just can't do it. I hate it.
10. I don't like to cook. Thank God for a husband who does. It just doesn't interest me.
11. I AM A HUGE GAMECOCK FAN. Duh. We lost this weekend though, that was stupid.
12. I want to live on the water soon. Can I afford it? No. But, goodness gracious...I need the water.
13. I don't really like dogs, except for my dog. Cause she's the bomb.
14. Sometimes I wish I chose another profession, not really sure what though.
15. I HATE coming up with lists like this....this one just too WAY too long.

And for a picture of me...as if I don't post enough=)This is Mikey and me at the Carolina/Alabama game, I don't really take a lot of pictures by myself.

My Pinterest inspired master bedroom makeover part one.

The BEFORE pictures. I've been itching to re-do my master bedroom for quite some time now. I am one of those people that likes to re decorate quite often...unfortunately for my bank account. Mikey's mom bought him a full queen sized bedroom suite when he graduated college, which was wonderful. It is very nice furniture and has served us well. But, I am SOOO sick of all the dark matchy-matchy look it brings. I will use this furniture again in a guest bedroom one day...but for now, it's time to retire it from my master. All of my bedding and rug I had previously...I've now had this zebra/brown/green theme for almost 4 years...so over it! Fortunately for us...my brother and SIL got a new bed...so what do we get?? Their old KING size bed!! Woohoo. I do NOT like for people to touch me when I sleep, I need my space...I've been wanting a king for so long. Even though our room isn't the biggest the king is working out okay...we aren't going to be in this h...

2019 family Village Creek trip

Our 2019 summer family vacation was everything I could have asked for, and more!  This year, my parents and nephew joined us for the week so we had extra fun!  (and extra chaos of course, too!)  We did ALL the things, but yet also did ALL the relaxing.  We arrived on G and T's actual, bday so we started our trip with a special birthday lunch in downtown Beaufort with just the boys since Collins rode down with my mom.  We also finally experienced the drive in movie that night for Toy Story 4 and it was AWESOME!  We only had one day of cloudy weather so that was awesome!  We ventured to Bohicket Marina, Harbor Town, Harbor Island, Edisto Island, Botany Bay, our favorite sandbar AND downtown Beaufort by boat, we had a ball!   My dad got some AMAZING fireworks and we had a little show for the culdesac, so much fun!!  Mikey and I even got to sneak out one n...

Takeover Tuesday

Surprise Caro, guess who hacked into your blog! I know what you are saying to yourself...I can’t believe it’s taken this long for me to mess with you on here. For those of you who haven’t figured it out yet, this obviously is not your sweet Caroline, this is her wonderful, sarcastic, fun loving, baby daddy (or is it babies’ daddy now?), also known as her husband. (Caro at her finest, throwing me a great 25th birthday celebration) Where do I begin…. I guess we can talk about how this marital bliss came to be before we talk about the author of this blog and how amazing she. Caroline has been the love of my life for as long as I can remember, we were actually first grade boyfriend and girlfriend if you can believe it. After first grade, there was the great divide, as both of us went to different schools the following year. Finally, after 10 agonizing, lonely years we were reunited at a house party our senior year in high school. I, naturally, had always kept an eye on her throughou...
