I can't even begin to describe the emotions that are going around Gamecock nation right now, I am SO proud to be an alum and even prouder of our amazing baseball team and amazing coach! The Gamecocks winning the National Championship in the LAST game to be played in Rosenblatt stadium, wow...we will definitely be remembered forever. We went out last night to "Five Points" which is the college age hang out/bar area. It was CAAARAAAAZY! To say people were excited would be an understatement. I know a lot of other big schools out there have won lots of championships, but this is only our SECOND national championship. SECOND? I mean I know our lousy record in football, but really only two national championships for a school that is over 200 years old and is the flagship university for a whole state.
