Fortunately- Hurricane Florence never hit our area like they originally thought- we just had lots of rain and some light wind all day Saturday and Sunday- sadly some of our upstate and coast wasn’t so lucky- and they are still dealing with flooding issues.

We were actually able to get out and about a good bit- we enjoyed a “hurricane party” Friday afternoon/early evening- and were home by 9 and everyone asleep shortly thereafter.
We spent Saturday snuggling on the couch all morning and then ventured out to the movies - Incredibles 2 was a hit for the whole family. Saturday night we went to friends and played games while 7 kids ran wild! It was fun and chaotic, as always.
Our church was actually cancelled Sunday as we didn’t know what was coming weather wise- our whole family slept until 9:30- glorious!! We got lots of random things done around the house, played, ran errands- you know the normal “Sunday” stuff.
We are supposed to be leaving for Nashville Thursday after work for the Carolina/Vandy game / party weekend with friends- Graham got sick today, so we will just have to see what happens from here.
Thankfully, we are back to clear, pretty skies and 90 degree weather ;-)
