All about ME


I totally stole this from Jessie's blog, (www.cupcakesandrunningshoes.blogspot.com). (I can't figure out how to add the link from my phone!) but these are fun to do every now and then and I certainly will look back and giggle at this one day, right?!

Age:  31

B: bed size:  KING, and we love every square inch of it!  I am not a “cuddler” when I sleep…I like to have my own space:-)

C: chore you hate:  dishes!  I don’t mind most cleaning/chores, but Mikey normally handles the dishes. 

D: dogs: one, sweet pup Milly…who doesn’t get near the attention she deserves with three kiddos to tend to.  I’m NOT a huge dog person, but Milly won my heart over.

E:  Essential to start your day:  I SO wish this was “working out”…but it’s not.  It’s a diet coke. I’ve tried to give it up so many times and I know I can…but I don’t like coffee…and water for breakfast just doesn’t get it. 

F:  favorite color:  aqua, without a doubt.  

G: Gold or silver: hmm….both?  Depends.  I definitely wear more gold jewelry now, is that what we are talking about?  Jewelry?  Décor…?? 

H: Height:  ….aaaalmost 5’2”  (see also: shorty)

I: instruments your play:  umm….NONE.  NEVER, have ZERO musical ability and I’m okay with that.

J: job title:  which one?  Wife.  Mama.  Attorney.  

K: Kids: THREE!  Still surreal.  One 3 year old little girl and TWIN boys that are 9 months old.

L: live: in my HOMETOWN, Chapin, SC and LOVE it

M: movie:  gosh…so many to choose from.  Steel Magnolias is still one of my all time faves.

N: nickname:  caro

O: overnight hospital stays: just the two times I gave birth.

P: pet peeve:  I know I have several, but I’m drawing a blank here……

S: siblings: just one brother; and now two sister in laws, a brother in law and a future sister in law:-)

T: time you wake up:  it really depends….anywhere between 6 and 7…mostly closer to 7.

V: vegetable you dislike: tomatoes ( I know a tomato is technically a fruit, but I consider it a veggie)

W: what makes you late:  ummm….three kids?!

X: x-rays: when I tore my ACL in high school

Y: yummy food:  SWEETS.  Such a weakness for them.  and fried foods.  (see also: why I can’t lose weight)

Z: zoo animal:  dolphin (we will pretend we are at an aquarium)

What's in a name?

I tell ya, the name game is HARD. Really hard. I never thought that I'd be 27 years old and pregnant and not know what I wanted to name my child. I *think* we have come up with the one , but I'm not quite ready to put it out for the world to see...you know, don't want to many people rushing to get monogrammed bubbles. Ha! Jokes! Anyways...so I can look back and remember what all we went thru to come up with a name in 20 years I am going to lay it all out there. Takeover Tuesday

Surprise Caro, guess who hacked into your blog! I know what you are saying to yourself...I can’t believe it’s taken this long for me to mess with you on here. For those of you who haven’t figured it out yet, this obviously is not your sweet Caroline, this is her wonderful, sarcastic, fun loving, baby daddy (or is it babies’ daddy now?), also known as her husband. (Caro at her finest, throwing me a great 25th birthday celebration) Where do I begin…. I guess we can talk about how this marital bliss came to be before we talk about the author of this blog and how amazing she. 25 weeks....yesterday!

Holy moly!!!! Baby Girl is doing some maaaayjah GROWING:) How far along? 25 weeks. Size of the baby? 13.5 inches and a pound and a half, grow baby girl, grow! Also known as an “average rutabaga”…um, okay. I’ll take Baby Center’s word for it. Maternity Clothes? Same as last week. My wardrobe is shrinking! I have bought several maternity tops, but most of them still look way too big. Still haven’t made the transition to maternity pants even though the bella band aggravates me sometimes. It’s the worst with my work pants, it constantly rolls down. I need to just suck it up and make the switch. Stretch Marks? None have appeared yet, still using the Palmer’s and Bio Oil a few times a week. Movement? Same. It’s so crazy how hard my belly gets at night, it is like she is all knotted up in one place. And the BELLY gets insanely BIG at night! Sleep? Eh…it’s been okay lately. I toss and turn a bunch. Food Cravings? Nothing crazy yet. I have been eating lots of peanu...
