Nooks and crannies.

Or also known as hallways and corners. Still lots of work to do around the casa...but I get disinterested quickly. I'm all house, house, house and then I just stop and forget about it for a while.  Maybe I have ADD?  Ha!

This is the little "nook" that leads to our master bedroom.
I guess if I was a cool "design blogger" I could call this a vignette, but I'm not . And it's probably not that cool either. But, it is home to MY VERY FIRST (and only) Michelle Armas painting which I am very proud of.  I scored this beauty on One King's Lane and was SO excited.  She is amazing.  And like I said/say for ALL things in my house...I still need my fab SIL to come over and help me "style" everything.  But, for now...it works for me.
This is the hallway off of the den/living room that leads to the garage. The plan here is to put wainscoting up on the left side (under the pin board) and add hooks to make this our "command" center/station.
Another view.  The wainscoting and a runner are the only things I need to do here.
Close up of my board.  I covered it myself!  So proud.  Ha! Yes, I really am proud....I am NOT a DIY-er.
This is the wall in the back of our living room/den. I think that mirror will stay there so maybe I can hang it now?

Foyer wall.  Pretty much NOTHING about this will stay.  Maybe the lamps.  Maybe not.  My idea here is to get six identical frames and hang them in three's above the table.  And to eventually get a new table.  Again, this is where my indecisiveness comes in...I just CANNOT decide exactly what I want this "look" to be.

Happy Monday, everyone!

xoxo

My Pinterest inspired master bedroom makeover part one.

The BEFORE pictures. I've been itching to re-do my master bedroom for quite some time now. I am one of those people that likes to re decorate quite often...unfortunately for my bank account. Mikey's mom bought him a full queen sized bedroom suite when he graduated college, which was wonderful. It is very nice furniture and has served us well. But, I am SOOO sick of all the dark matchy-matchy look it brings. I will use this furniture again in a guest bedroom one day...but for now, it's time to retire it from my master. All of my bedding and rug I had previously...I've now had this zebra/brown/green theme for almost 4 years...so over it! Fortunately for us...my brother and SIL got a new bed...so what do we get?? Their old KING size bed!! Woohoo. I do NOT like for people to touch me when I sleep, I need my space...I've been wanting a king for so long. Even though our room isn't the biggest the king is working out okay...we aren't going to be in this h

2019 family Village Creek trip

Our 2019 summer family vacation was everything I could have asked for, and more!  This year, my parents and nephew joined us for the week so we had extra fun!  (and extra chaos of course, too!)  We did ALL the things, but yet also did ALL the relaxing.  We arrived on G and T's actual, bday so we started our trip with a special birthday lunch in downtown Beaufort with just the boys since Collins rode down with my mom.  We also finally experienced the drive in movie that night for Toy Story 4 and it was AWESOME!  We only had one day of cloudy weather so that was awesome!  We ventured to Bohicket Marina, Harbor Town, Harbor Island, Edisto Island, Botany Bay, our favorite sandbar AND downtown Beaufort by boat, we had a ball!   My dad got some AMAZING fireworks and we had a little show for the culdesac, so much fun!!  Mikey and I even got to sneak out one night for a date night, headed to our fav, Sal

Takeover Tuesday

Surprise Caro, guess who hacked into your blog! I know what you are saying to yourself...I can’t believe it’s taken this long for me to mess with you on here. For those of you who haven’t figured it out yet, this obviously is not your sweet Caroline, this is her wonderful, sarcastic, fun loving, baby daddy (or is it babies’ daddy now?), also known as her husband. (Caro at her finest, throwing me a great 25th birthday celebration) Where do I begin…. I guess we can talk about how this marital bliss came to be before we talk about the author of this blog and how amazing she. Caroline has been the love of my life for as long as I can remember, we were actually first grade boyfriend and girlfriend if you can believe it. After first grade, there was the great divide, as both of us went to different schools the following year. Finally, after 10 agonizing, lonely years we were reunited at a house party our senior year in high school. I, naturally, had always kept an eye on her throughou
