weeeknd rewind

Goodness, what a perfect summer weekend we had. We took off Friday so we could enjoy a long weeeknd in the lowcountry with friends. We had the BEST weather along with the best company. We spent two beautiful days hanging out on the sandbar, the kids swam, played, and ate their hearts out while we mostly were able to sit down and watch, hooray for that!  The mornings were spent being lazy, fishing, golf cart riding, and swimming in the pool. The adults were even able to sneak out Friday night for a fun evening in downtown Beaufort. I'm pretty sure my kiddos are all three taking loooooong naps today catching up from the fun, but it was well worth it!







And then Sunday, we came home and attended my nephews birthday party and then I raced back home to host a sprinkle for one of my best girls. Whirlwind.... and I sure was tired last night but wouldn't trade it.

What's in a name?

I tell ya, the name game is HARD. Really hard. I never thought that I'd be 27 years old and pregnant and not know what I wanted to name my child. I *think* we have come up with the one , but I'm not quite ready to put it out for the world to see...you know, don't want to many people rushing to get monogrammed bubbles. Ha! Jokes! Takeover Tuesday

Surprise Caro, guess who hacked into your blog! I know what you are saying to yourself...I can’t believe it’s taken this long for me to mess with you on here. For those of you who haven’t figured it out yet, this obviously is not your sweet Caroline, this is her wonderful, sarcastic, fun loving, baby daddy (or is it babies’ daddy now?), also known as her husband. 25 weeks....yesterday!

Holy moly!!!! Baby Girl is doing some maaaayjah GROWING:) How far along? 25 weeks. Size of the baby? 13.5 inches and a pound and a half, grow baby girl, grow! Also known as an “average rutabaga”…um, okay. I’ll take Baby Center’s word for it. Maternity Clothes? Same as last week. My wardrobe is shrinking! I have bought several maternity tops, but most of them still look way too big. Still haven’t made the transition to maternity pants even though the bella band aggravates me sometimes. It’s the worst with my work pants, it constantly rolls down. I need to just suck it up and make the switch. Stretch Marks? None have appeared yet, still using the Palmer’s and Bio Oil a few times a week. Movement? Same. It’s so crazy how hard my belly gets at night, it is like she is all knotted up in one place. And the BELLY gets insanely BIG at night! Sleep? Eh…it’s been okay lately. I toss and turn a bunch. Food Cravings? Nothing crazy yet. I have been eating lots of peanu...
