We have stayed HOME the past two weekends and it was very nice, although both weekends we were still crazy busy!!
Last weekend was the Tennessee game, we looked like CRAP at first...but ended up winning pretty handily. Something about those Gamecocks, no game is ever a guarantee. It was a FUN day of college football though...sadly I have totally slacked on picture taking this season and only got THREE pictures all day. That should be a crime folks.

The Friday night before the game, we went to a surprise birthday party. It was a fun low key night spent outside around a fire.
TWO weekends ago, one of my dear friends got married! Everything was beautiful, the bride was gorgeous, even though once again...my BAD picture taking...I have NO pictures with her.

Now for my random thoughts:
1. So SC had a GOP sweep. Feels pretty good. We elected our very first female governor, pretty cool. I don't LOVE everything about her, but I do like most of her ideas and principles. We shall see...I really hope she succeeds.
2. It's FREEZING in SC today. Freezing equals 58 degrees to me. We go from 80 last week to 58 this week? Weird. Regardless, I was pretty excited to finally bring out the sweaters and boots!
3. We are spending the weekend in Charleston for Mikey's homecoming game/FIVE year reunion from college. We rented a beach house on the Isle of Palms...should be good times but my goodness...I still can't believe I have been OUT of college longer than I was IN it. Sad Sad day.
4. I got the new "gellish" nail polish the other day and am obsessed. It is amazing. It goes on just like a polish, but is a gel. It is supposed to last 3-4 weeks with NO cracking, peeling, etc. So far, so good. It really helps me because I am so bad about picking my nails.
5. I ended up going with the BCBG boots, love them. Super comfy and super cute.
6. I'm simply obsessed with Carrie Underwood's "Mommas Song". It is my absolute favorite song to belt out to in the car, don't worry I only do this when I'm alone. OR ...occasionally Mikey has to suffer thru...I have the WORST singing voice ever. But, I LOVE to sing.
7. I am also obsessed with "Like a G6." What am I like 18?? Ha! I hadn't even heard it till this past weekend and now I LOVE IT. Something about that rhythm...
