Weekend rewind

We had NO plans this weekend and used every second to LOVE on our babies.  We are leaving  tomorrow  (!!!) for COSTA RICA for a wedding/vacation.  While we are absolutely ecstatic for this trip, I’m also having anxiety about leaving my babes, this will be the longest I’ve ever left them, sads. I know they will be in WONDERFUL hands….I just have a constant thought of “what if” and it’s the WORST.    Anyways,  on to the point of the post.   Friday night we took the kids to Toys  R us for Collins to  pick out a toy with birthday money from grandparents.  Y’all, this thing is HUGE and AMAZING.  No clue where we are going to keep it in our house, but for real…this thing is awesome.   The escalator works and the movie theatre has a spot to put your phone, because you know, even Barbie’s need to watch real movies;-)  She is super excited about it and spent the whole weekend playing with it.  She’s still obsessed with princesses, but Barbie is slowly climbing in the ranks and taking over our h

Final Day at Disney!

Our final day at Disney was our best.  We chose to sleep in on Sunday so that we could stay at the park later that night for the night time electrical parade, laser show and fireworks…which were absolutely incredible!  We got there around  11:30 Sunday  and we even had time for the adults to use fastpasses  for space mountain and thunder mountain!  On Sunday, Mikey and I took Collins to lunch at Cinderalla’s castle, the BEST experience!  I am so glad we waited  until Sunday  to do this…for our girl. Collins needed that time to warm up :-) The first day when she met Ariel she barely even looked at her…but by the time we were through lunch she was hugging all of the princesses!  It was truly magical watching her little face light up each time a new princess came by.  This was definitely one of my favorite things we did….by far.  (My parents took the boys to the country bear jamboree and lunch while we had this special time with C).  After lunch, it was time for Collins to ride her

We had a busy weekend!  Saturday was spent voting, running errands, and then going to my best friend's daughter's birthday party... Which was also a gender reveal party!  The cutest republican I ever did see! My babies wore the right color for the gender reveal:-) Saturday night we attended a wedding shower for my bestie! And as of now I don't have one single pic from it! Ugh!  We had a blast and took the party back to our house after.  Sunday was ALL about Collins as we had her birthday party, but that's a post for another day. She loved it:-) Love, A blog slacker

FOUR!

Happy Birthday to my NUMBER ONE girl!    Even though you just turned four, I feel like you have been a part of me forever…I can’t imagine my life without you in it.  You, my sweet girl, bring us SO much joy…you make your daddy and me laugh every day and we absolutely love watching you with your brothers.  You are so protective of them and love them so much, you really are the best big sister in the world! Your sassiness has turned up a notch (or three) in the past couple of months, sometimes it’s funny and sometimes it makes us want to pull our hair out!  You are a rule follower at school and dance and like to be the second “teacher.”  Your sassiness typically only comes out at home, you save all that for us, I guess.  Most of the time, you are still our sweet little girl who loves to color, play pretend, dress up, and drive your jeep/bike/scooter! I love you as BIG as the world, baby girl.   Xoxo, mommy. Birthday pancakes, flowers, a ballon and presents this morning!

Another fun weekend in the books. Our "no plans" weekends are coming to an end... We are about to get busy!! My sweet girl at her Valentine's Day party:-) On Friday night we took the kids and met my parents and niece at the boat show... The kids loved climbing in all those big boats! I didn't snap one pic... But we ended the night with dinner at Fuddruckers... The kids loved it, of course! We headed to C's besties birthday party Saturday morning... Nails, makeup, hair and a fashion show! The girls were in heaven! We hung out with friends Saturday night. Love watching all the kids play together. Every once in a while I try and be a fun/crafty mom :-). Set up a little Valentine's morning breakfast with presents for the kids.  Church, lunch with cousins, cupcakes from grandparents... Sunday was fun! Happy Monday! Xoxo

Weekend rewind

We had a semi low key weekend ... We attempted to do a date night Friday to go see my boy Leo's movie, but Mikey's mom didn't get to our house till later and he didn't feel that great, but I WILL go see him in theatre soon! We hosted a shower for Mikey's brother and fiancé Saturday night, so I spent time Saturday prepping for it. Errands, party prep, play time with the kiddos and it was  party time! The hostesses with the future Mr. and Mrs.! A fun night for a fun couple.  Mikey's mom and aunt spent the weekend with us to go to shower, so we had a lazy Sunday morning, cooking breakfast and hanging out.  We finally made it to see our Carolina girls play basketball Monday night. Our girls are awesome! Number 2 in the nation!!  And just like that... It's almost the weekend again!

Ahem... As in last weekend. I'm a bit behind these days! We had a fairly low key weekend... Lots of snuggling, playing, and relaxing. Much needed after our Disney vacay!  My girl has started showing an interest in making her bed:-) so precious.  Morning cartoon time with my three bed heads. Saturday night... Mikey and I got fancy and went to our children museums annual gala with his work. It was a fun event and a nice little date night for a few hours.  Happy Friday!!

Disney: day 2

We chose Hollywood studios for day 2. We mainly wanted to see the Frozen sing a long and the beauty and the beast live show, both were amazing!! It was freezing on Saturday!! Thankfully almost everything is inside at Hollywood studios so it was bearable...but goodness!  My girl waiting on frozen  Cuties:-) Selfie while the boys napped... The adults took turns going on tower of terror! So glad we got a fast pass for a few adult rides too! About to start tower of terror! We spent a good thirty minutes or more in the Honey I shrunk the kids, playground. The kids loved it and it was the perfect place for the boys to get some energy out. We also got a fast pass for the toy story ride, which was the longest line all day! It was so fun! In all, we did: Frozen sing a long celebration, toy story ride, tower of terror, live beauty and the beast show, Disney junior show, honey I shrunk the kids playground, muppets vision 3D. We made this a shorter d
