We are the champions....AGAIN!

Image from www.thestate.com I can't freaking believe it! I never really expected our beloved COCKS to take home another national title in baseball for the second year in a row. What an amazing accomplishment for these boys (yes, boys...these kids were born in the 90's ...makes me feel ancient!) But, have I mentioned this...baseball players are hot. Carolina has produced SEVERAL cuties over the past few years. Cleat chasers...have at em'!

OMAHA!

What a feeling. I can't believe my GAMECOCKS are BACK in the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP for the SECOND year in a row...what a enormously huge accomplishment for Ray Tanner and ALL of our mighty fine South Carolina gamecocks. If you are remotely interested in college sports/baseball, you know that our game against Florida last night was one of THE BEST GAMES EVER PLAYED, the end. No question about it. It was the most exhilarating defensively played game I have ever seen. Our guys just didn't give up...as they like to say they "battled" through. (for you social media lovers...all our boys tweet and constantly talk about #battling through, etc.!) I just wanted to capture this moment. Wingo was definitely the hero, he has got to be the BEST second baseman in the country. But, countless others (Walker, Beary, Koumas) made this game happen as well. SOOO PROUD TO BE A GAMECOCK!!! I pray that tonight is the last game and we are champions again:) Picture from: mediagallery.u

Sweet Savannah.

Mikey and I ventured down to Savannah to celebrate our anniversary this year. We had an absolute blast and fell in love with the city. We've both been to Savannah several times (he on his BACHELOR party on ST. PATTY'S DAY, can you even imagine the shenanigans!?!) and I've been for a bachelorette and a few other times with my family by boat. But, neither of us had ever really truly enjoyed what all the city had to offer. Our previous visits were either quick, or purely aimed at bar hopping. This time we wanted to soak up all of the wonderful history the city provides and obviously, eat till we rolled...at least that's what it felt like! We arrived late Friday night and just relaxed in the hotel, enjoying watching movies and not having anything to do. We spent Saturday morning playing tourist, I absolutely love all things history and Savannah does NOT let you down in that department. Our tour guide was EXTREMELY knowledgeable... we spent several hours just explor

This is how it goes.

I have a routine. It's obnoxious and I'm ready to change it. But, I need some freakin' DISCIPLINE. Where do I come by that? It amazes me how disciplined some people are...I just don't have it. Not with working out, not with watching what I eat, ugh. Maybe I just don't care enough? Who knows? All I know...is this is what happens pretty much every single day. I set my alarm to wake up early and work out. (No, not 8 am as in the picture below...this is clearly stolen (courtesy of www.pinterest.com) b/c I don't even have an iphone. Anyways, I get enough sleep, so that's not the problem. A lot of mornings, my alarm goes off and I never really go back to sleep but I just love to snooze off and on and snuggle in bed. Have I mentioned I am NOT a morning person? So anyways, alarm goes off....I snooze it a couple times, all while thinking in my head...a few more minutes and then I will get up, work out, have a nice, leisurely morning. Next thing you know

Summertime Rant.

I love summer, almost EVERYTHING about it. I am and always have been a summer girl, I love the sun, sand, water, old fashioned lemonade days of summer. *Yes, even SC's sweltering 100 degree days...besides, southern girls don't sweat, we glisten* (Riiiight, I sweat like a freaking PIG, ugh...but I wouldn't trade it for winter for the world.) Anyways, one thing i do hate about the summer? The TV. There is never anything to watch. I hate how all of the good shows (non reality) end before summer, it really drives me nuts. I do not like reality tv (save for one...and that is So You Think You Can Dance!), reality tv generally drives me BONKERS. Sometimes, I truly don't understand how so many girls can love the Bachelor, Bachelorette, Housewives shows. I get the fact that a lot of people use these petty, catty, drama filled shows as a release from their real life, but I just can't stand them. CANNOT STAND. I think it's interesting how so many women talk ab
